The ELEVENTH Day of Christmas

I want to do something for Christmas! (other than just celebrating it)
I want to do something that would help the poor or something, because when I hear my friends or family talk about doing something for them, they seem so happy!
I've actually felt that joy myself when I was younger. That's when I gave a street kid my share of the food.
It felt awesome! and I want to feel that joy again!
So... I'm planning on asking my Tita if I could go with her to the orphanage and give the kids there food and clothes!
I hope she would allow....
Then a thought came to me, its a saying I always here around Christmas.
"Christmas is about giving not receiving" or something like that...
(But I only hear that when someone wants a gift from me... hehehehehe...)

The TENTH day of Christmas

The first thing I see when I arrived in CDO was Christmas decorations!! Even in Cebu, I saw a LOT of Christmas decorations! Parols, Christmas lights and last but not the least, a HUGE  Christmas tree!
(I saw this in Cebu.) Basically all the trees were decorated with "Twinkling lights."
...EVERYTHING WAS SO COLORFUL AT NIGHT!!!
We ( my family and I) went to Ayala mall and I saw... Twilight Saga books made out of CAKE!! CAKE!!! I  want that for my birthday!
Green, green, green, green, Red, red, red, red... It's kinda getting annoying after a while...

The NINETH Day of Christmas

On December 11, we (my Family and I) went to Cebu to "Celebrate" the wedding of my cousin.
We had ANOTHER family reunion ( on my mothers side) and it was AWESOME!!!!
AND I just found out that I'm a tita! O.O
Anyways, It's just so cool to have a wedding when Christmas is so near! If your the newly Wed's, you get more PRESENTS! hehehehehe....
I'm just going to miss my family there, their all so awesome! (Their from Osamis, Where  my mother was born... My cousins there are so old!)
One of my wishes for Christmas is that they spend Christmas with us.
I got close to them for a short period of time only!

The EIGHTH Day of Christmas

CHRISTMAS HAIKU NUMBER TWO!! (hehehe... That rhymed)

Everyone is smiling

The SEVENTH Day of Christmas

CHRISTMAS POEM NUMBER TWO!!

Under the Christmas tree
All kinds of gifts I see

All kinds of shapes and sizes
There wasn't any room for surprises

Candy canes were hanging is socks
And kids were playing with blocks

Laughter and cheers could be heard
And the baby didn't say a word

Food was everywhere
People couldn't help but stop and stare

This is what Christmas was about
So just smile and don't give a pout!

The SIXTH Day of Christmas

FIREWORKS!!!!

(This pic is awesome, I wish I was there...)

That's what I'm excited about this Christmas!! Last year, we were lucky that someone gave THREE boxes of fireworks as a GIFT! (Some people are really gangrenous.)
My brother got so excited, he wanted to be the one to light them up. It was funny, because whenever he would light them up, he would run away screaming. Ahh... good times.
Anyway, last year like I said, we had THREE fireworks:
One small one and two LARGE ones. (we also has sparklers)
We first lit the small one... I was surprised that even though it was so small, the "Explosion" was HUGE! My family and I had to cover our ears. (the box was the size of a watch box)
Then, we lit the two big ones... all I can say was...wow...
It was so incredible that at the end, our neighbors came to us... and the guards got mad... hehehehe...
It was one of the best Christmas' I ever had! and I'm not going to forget it!

The FIFTH Day of Christmas

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Christmas lights come in different colors,
Blue, red, yellow, green and even white too,
They also come in different shapes and sizes,
Big, medium and small, it doesn't really matter how tall.

They make dull things look pretty,
Even if the dull thing is a tree.

They can brighten up our day with just one switch,
Oh, how they would burn the eyes of a witch.

Their bright lights would bring joyous cries,
No matter how many people say their good-byes.

Christmas decorations don't really matter,
If it isn't with lights, then it's as bad as Santa Clause getting fatter...

The FOURTH Day of Christmas

When Christmas comes, there are certain things people get excited about, and for most of them the thing that excites them most are.... PRESENTS!!!!

But for other people, what excites them the most is spending time with their family for the holidays.

But, for a certain amount of people, they celebrate the holiday as the birth of our lord, Jesus Chris.
And that's the thing! People sometimes forget that that's why were celebrating that holiday! His name is just there! CHRISTmas! That's why it offending that some people call it x-mas... X-mas!

The SECOND Day of Christmas

This December 10, my Grandmother and the person she married, My "Grandfather", are coming here to the Philippines for the Holidays! meaning.... More family time!

Why more family time? Well, because my grandparents are here, were going to have a little "reunion" with family members. And by reunion, I mean their practically going to live in our house until my grandparents go back to America.
Now, I know what you may be thinking, "Why are you talking about this when the title says "The SECOND Day of Christmas"???"
You see, when my family get together for Christmas, we have traditions that we ALWAYS do when Christmas eve comes.

#1. We prepare the food for dinner TOGETHER.

#2. We stay up until midnight. ( My cousins and I usually hide while were waiting because we still have to wrap our gifts... hehehehehe...)

#3. When its midnight, we pick someone as our "Santa Clause" and that person will hand out the gifts to the people.

#4. And then... WE EAT!!!

#5. We play games OR we present something.

That's our Christmas tradition. It isn't much but we've been doing this ever since I was BORN (according to my mother) and I want this tradition to last forever..... BUT, my family and I only do this tradition when were spending Christmas in CDO, It's a different thing when I'm in Manila... hehehehehe....

The FIRST day of Christmas

A CHRISTMAS STORY

Bells could be herd as the clock struck twelve.

A little girl woke up to the sound of hoofs landing on her roof. A smile came upon her face.

"Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen!" the little girl yelled excitedly as she ran down the stairs.

She looked out the window to see if she could get a glimpse of the reindeer's she named.

"And don't forget Rudolf with his nose shining so bright"

The girls' eyes widened as she slowly turned to look at the person who talked.

The smile on her face grew bigger at the sight of a man, who's cheeks were as red as his suit.

"Santa!!" the girl yelled, running to the said man.

The said man laughed with a ho-ho-ho.

Santa lifted the little girl and placed her on his lap.

"Were you a good girl this year?" Santa asked, with a smile on his face.

The little girl nodded as she giggled.

Santa laughed again. "If you were a good girl, than you shall receive the presents you deserve"

The girl looked at the Christmas tree and saw that it was surrounded with presents.

Big presents, small presents, all kinds of sizes could be found under the tree.

The girl gave a cheer as she jumped off Santas' lap.

The girl was so busy paying attention to the presents that she didn't notice Santa slowly walking away from the girl, to stand under the chimney.

'SWOOP'

The girl raised her head and looked at the chimney.

Bell's could be herd again as the reindeer's started flying with the sled in toe.

"HO-HO-HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
