                                               " THE HOSTAGE INCIDENT"

The Philippine National Police (PNP) tried to rescue 15 tourists from Hong Kong, held on a bus

by a gunman, was poorly trained, armed and led. The gunman was known as former police general, Rodolfo Mendoza. A process that should have been over in 5 minutes, took almost half of the day, leading to 8 tourist's death and one in critical condition. At the end of the incident, Rodolfo Mendoza, who was angry at being dismissed from the government, was killed by a police.

When the people in Hong Kong herd about this, anger rushed through them as they demanded a
thorough investigation on the crime that was done.

The people in the Philippines even have a new name for the SWAT team:

S - sorry
W - wala
A - akong
T - training

At the end of all this, PNP admitted their mistake of being unprepared for the Hostage taking.

... What really surprised me was that, after the incident, the people in Hong Kong started hating the
whole filipino race because of one mistake that ONE of our people did. Isn't that a bit exaggerated?
Well, I guess people just have different opinions on the story!
