"MAJOR MAJOR MISS PHILIPPINES"

Miss Philippines 2010, Venus Raj, was favored to win the Miss Universe 2010, especially after the online poll put her in first place going in to the competition. However, in the end, she instead won fifth place while Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete won the crown.

So... What went wrong?

When one of the judges, Mr. Baldwin asked the question, "What is the biggest mistake that you've ever made in your life and what did you do to make it right?"
Venus Raj replied, "In my 22 years of existence I can say there is nothing major major problem that I have
encountered. Because I an very confident with my family, with the love they are giving to me. So, thank you so much that I am here, thank you so much!"

Many believed Miss Venus Raj's answered caused her to lose the competition, but many also supported her. A certain TV show in the U.S showed how hard it is to answer that kind of question, saying that even their former president, George Bush couldn't even answer that question.

... It IS hard to answer that kind of question. No one wants to admit their mistakes to people, what more if you admit it to the WHOLE WORLD. And... Who wouldn't feel pressured in answering in front of MANY people?
